State Privacy Rights
Last updated: 2026-08-21
Effective: August 21, 2026
Where you are a resident of a US state with a comprehensive privacy law — California under the CCPA/CPRA, or Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, or another state with a similar statute — the following supplements our Privacy Policy.
Sharing for Advertising
No personal information is exchanged for money. But where advertising runs on this site, cookie and device identifiers may go to advertising partners, and the broad statutory definitions of ‘sale’ and ‘sharing’ can capture that. It is opt-out-able — see Do Not Sell or Share My Information. We do not knowingly sell or share data belonging to minors under 16.
Control You Have
Available to you: confirmation of what we hold and access to it; correction of anything wrong; deletion; a portable copy; and opt-out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. Some states add a right to appeal a refusal. Exercising these rights never results in different pricing or reduced access — that would be unlawful discrimination.
Applicable Categories
What is covered: identifiers, including IP address and cookie or device IDs; internet activity, meaning your navigation of this site; and, if you gave one, an email address. These reach us from your own browser and from analytics or advertising partners where such partners are active.
How to Ask
Contact hello@fluentathome.com with what you need. An opt-out can also be signalled technically, by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser — we honour it automatically. We verify requests by replying to the sending address, meet the deadlines state law imposes, and allow an authorised agent to act on your behalf with written authorisation.
