Do Not Sell
Do Not Sell or Share My Info

The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information comes from California’s CCPA/CPRA and from similar laws in a growing number of US states. This page covers how it works here.
Effect of Your Choice
Opting out stops the sharing of advertising identifiers; it does not remove advertising from the site. You may still see ads, but they will be generic rather than selected from your browsing history. Nothing else about the site changes, and we do not degrade access or withhold content because you opted out.
How This Applies to Us
- We do not sell your personal information for money, and we never have. What can happen is narrower: where advertising is served on this site, advertising cookies and device identifiers may be made available to advertising partners. The statutory definitions of ‘sale’ and ‘sharing’ are wide enough to capture that arrangement, so we treat it as opt-out-able rather than argue about the label.
- You do not have to be a subscriber for this to apply — it covers anyone reading what we publish on fluentathome.com.
Exercising the Opt-Out
You can opt out by enabling a Global Privacy Control signal in your browser, which this site honours automatically without any message from you; by declining advertising cookies in the consent banner where it appears; or by emailing hello@fluentathome.com under the subject ‘Do Not Sell or Share’. None of these routes requires you to register.
This is one right among several; the rest are in our State Privacy Notice.
